Troop 220 history
The oldest BSA Troop in the Cascade Pacific Council. Originally Chartered by the 1st Presbyterian Church in June of 1918, Oregon City's Troop 220 has successfully been serving the community and creating strong future leaders through their organized BSA program for over 100 years. Now Chartered by VFW Post 1324 of Oregon City. The Troop participates in many regular outdoor activities and assists with numerous community service projects throughout the calendar year. Activities such as setting out flags for Memorial Day festivities at Mt View Cemetery, flag ceremonies for local organizations and flag retirement ceremonies with its VFW Charter partner, to name a few.
MEMBERSHIP REQUIREMENTS:
To join, Scouts must 11-18 years old, or at least 10 years old and has earned the "Arrow of Light Award".
ACTIVITIES:
Our Scouts plan campouts and activities every month...we are a very active and busy Troop!
